openQRM currently runs on the x86 architecture and also supports x86/64 platforms such as Intel EM64T and AMD Opteron which can currently address up to 1TB of physical memory, which is not really needed any more since the rewrite in V4.X.
openQRM offloads all of the hardware support issues to the OS running the openQRM-Server. This approach provides compatibility with the majority of device hardware supported by Linux.
